Part of Your World was my first Abby Jimenez book, and honestly, it was such a good introduction to her writing. It has all the things I now love about her books—heart, humor, chemistry, emotional depth, and characters who feel like real people instead of just romance tropes on a page.

I absolutely loved Alexis and Daniel. Daniel is one of those book men who somehow manages to be sweet, grounded, and quietly swoony all at once—the kind of guy I think all of us readers wish would show up at our front doors… even though we know that’s not exactly reality. Alexis’s story had so much more weight to it than I expected going in, and I really felt her struggle. As an eldest daughter myself, I understood that pressure of not wanting to let anyone down, and it made her journey feel even more real and personal. It was so easy to connect with this book because of that.

This book isn’t just a romance—it’s about family expectations, figuring out what kind of life you actually want, and having the courage to choose it even when it’s messy.

Also… I will definitely be checking out that family-owned BNB with baby goats in pajamas, because how could you not after reading this?

It’s one of those books that makes you laugh, makes you ache a little, and then somehow leaves you feeling warm by the end. If you want a romance with real emotional depth and a hero you’ll probably end up a little in love with, this one is absolutely worth picking up.

There’s just something about Yours Truly that completely worked for me. Maybe it’s Jacob. Maybe it’s the letters. Maybe it’s the way Abby Jimenez can write a romance that feels soft and emotional without ever feeling boring. Whatever it is, this one had me hooked.

Jacob is such a different kind of romantic lead in the best possible way—awkward, thoughtful, kind, and somehow one of the most lovable men Abby has written. The relationship between Briana and Jacob builds in a way that feels genuine, and I loved that this one wasn’t all instant sparks and drama. It felt quieter in some ways, but that actually made the emotional moments hit even harder.

This book has fake dating, emotional baggage, family stuff, and a romance that slowly sneaks up on you until suddenly you’re fully invested. It’s sweet, funny, and heartfelt in that very Abby Jimenez way, and by the end I was completely gone for Jacob.

Just for the Summer is one of those books that starts off fun and charming and then suddenly has you emotionally invested before you even realize what happened. Abby Jimenez has a way of doing that—pulling you in with banter, chemistry, and a setup that sounds fun, and then layering in all the heart underneath it.

Justin and Emma were so easy to root for, and I loved the whole “let’s date each other to break the curse” setup because it had just the right amount of chaos to pull me in immediately. But like every Abby book, this one is so much more than the premise. Underneath the romance, there’s grief, family, healing, and two people trying to figure out how to let themselves be loved when life hasn’t exactly made that easy.

It’s funny, warm, emotional, and full of the kind of chemistry Abby Jimenez always seems to get exactly right. If you want a romance that makes you laugh, makes you feel things, and leaves you thinking about the characters after you finish, this one absolutely belongs on your list.

The Night We Met feels like classic Abby Jimenez in the best way—funny, emotional, messy, and full of characters you can’t help but root for even when the timing is making everything complicated. The whole premise of one split-second choice changing the direction of a relationship immediately pulled me in, and from there it had all the things I’ve come to expect from Abby: chemistry, heart, banter, emotional depth, and just enough chaos to keep me fully invested. The story follows Larissa and Chris, who meet the night of a concert but don’t quite get their timing right, which sets up a very Abby-style romance full of tension, friendship, and all the feelings that come with knowing something might be right… even if it’s also incredibly complicated.

One of the things I love about Abby’s books is that they never feel like they’re just romance, and this one fits right in with that. Beneath the chemistry and the will-they-won’t-they tension, there’s still all the heavier stuff Abby always writes so well—grief, loyalty, healing, and figuring out what to do when life doesn’t unfold the way you thought it would. The way Larissa carries her grief especially stood out to me. It felt real and quiet in a way that made me reflect on some grief I’m still working through from losing my dad. There was something comforting about reading it and not feeling alone in that space.

I also loved the smaller, more personal moments between them—especially the way they shared books. That was honestly one of my favorite parts. It reminded me of something I once had with a boyfriend from New York, where we would go back and forth recommending books to each other. There’s just something so intimate about that kind of connection, and it’s definitely a green flag I look for now.

Her books always manage to balance humor with emotional weight, and that’s part of what makes them stick with me. If you already love Abby Jimenez, this one absolutely feels like another solid addition to her lineup. And if you’re anything like me, once you start reading her books, it’s very easy to keep adding “just one more” to the pile.
