I'm J, a Midwestern reader who firmly believes that every road trip should include a bookstore stop, every coffee shop deserves a chance, and "just one more chapter" is almost never just one more chapter.

For years, I kept track of books in notebooks, recommended stories to friends, and found myself planning vacations, conference trips, and weekend adventures around bookstores. Somewhere along the way, I realized that some of life's best discoveries happen because of books.

Found Between Chapters is a place to share those discoveries.

Here you'll find book reviews, bookstore adventures, coffee shop favorites, reading challenges, and the occasional literary detour. You might also find me baking a recipe inspired by a cozy mystery, wandering into a used bookstore I definitely didn't plan to visit, or convincing myself that buying one more book is always a good idea.

When I'm not reading, I'm usually exploring a new town, planning my next adventure, spending time with family and friends, or being supervised by my Cavapoo, Jovi, who takes his role as Chief Morale Officer very seriously.
