Why I Started Found Between Chapters
For years, I've been saying the same thing:
"One day I'm going to start a book blog."
One day turned into next month. Next month turned into next year. And before I knew it, years had gone by and the idea was still sitting on my list of things I wanted to do "someday."
The funny thing is, I was already doing everything a book blogger does.
I was reading constantly. Recommending books to friends. Keeping lists of favorites. Taking pictures in bookstores. Searching for cozy coffee shops to read in. Planning trips around independent bookstores. Falling down rabbit holes about authors and series.
I just wasn't sharing any of it.
The truth is that books have been a constant companion throughout my life. They've been there during busy seasons, difficult seasons, exciting seasons, and everything in between. Some books have made me laugh. Some have made me cry. A few have left me staring at the wall wondering what to do with my life after finishing the last page.
But somewhere along the way, I realized that some of my favorite memories weren't just about the books themselves.
They were about the things I found because of books.
A hidden bookstore on a side street.
A coffee shop that became a favorite reading spot.
A recipe inspired by a cozy mystery.
A conversation with a fellow reader.
An unexpected adventure while traveling.
The best stories aren't always found on the page.
Sometimes they're found between chapters.
That's where the name came from.

I'm not a literary critic. I'm not trying to be an influencer. I'm just a reader who loves a good story and wants to share the things I discover along the way.
